Muna Mohamed is an undergraduate student from Edmonton at the University of Alberta. Being a first-generation immigrant and college student has greatly influenced her identity. In this narrative, Mohamed reflects on how her immigrant identity has also impacted her college experience in addition to considering the challenges she’s faced as a minority.
