Abstract

These practices are primarily more fitness, herbal remedies, controlling their emotions, eating healthier and taking prescriptions. The local clinic in Florida in West-Central Florida noted that due to the diabetes management in poor socioeconomic standards the Hispanic community has poor glycemic control and those few who are able to get the donated insulin, later, resort to other oral medications. However, the ability to not afford healthcare is just one of the barriers that the rural Hispanic farmworkers in Florida face.
